Build 20190409

What’s new this week

Removal of archived messages

A possibility to remove messages from the archive has been added. This feature is not available by default, and can be enabled by support on a specific admin account on request. Removed messages continue to be stored encrypted until they expire, but will no longer be visible or accessible via the web interface. This option will automatically also apply to any sub-admins of the admin, and it cannot be disabled once enabled.

Once the option has been enabled on your account by support, in the archive search pages, there is a new action available to remove selected messages from the archive. When using this option, the user will need to confirm that this is irreversible:

Removal of archived messages

Filtering (services):

  • Resolved: rejections based on SPF no longer refer to openspf.org, which is no longer available (23ab7707f8)
  • Resolved: fixed the status for some messages that were wrongly showing as queued (MMA-1059)
  • Improved: the check for executable files inside of archive attachments now also checks ISO attachments (#720)

Front-end / GUI:

  • Improved: custom HTML snippets may now be loaded only for the admin the snippet belongs to, or to all users linked to that admin (as previously) (MMA-751)
  • Added: removal of archived messages is now possible (enabled/disabled on a per-admin basis) (MMA-77)
