Celebrating Women in Tech

There are rising opportunities and significant obstacles for women who want to work in the IT industry. Smart companies understand that diversity is good for business.

SpamExperts wants to contribute to young women growing up to find equal opportunities in our industry through internship programs and employment.

We are proud to be part of the Gender Diversity & Equity (GDEI) working group organized by the Internet Infrastructure Coalition, a worldwide, dynamic and fast growing community that supports the success of women in the hosting industry managed by the Internet infrastructure industry’s premier association.

With women making up just 26% of IT professionals according to VentureBeat, i2C’s Gender Diversity Group (GDEI) plans on organizing events and activities throughout the year to attract more women to develop careers in the industry.

On the International Women’s Day, we would like to send a message out there that SpamExperts is a place where women do a fantastic and creative work and we aim to attract more ladies to start and progress their careers in our company.

What we love most about being involved in the Gender Diversity & Equity (GDEI) is the collaboration and sharing with a global community of tech companies that want to make a difference and bridge the diversity gap.

We are excited to participate to World Hosting Days event next week and support the gender diversity! Join the conversation about gender diversity using the main hashtags: #i2CGDEI, #PledgeForParity

Until then, Happy Women’s Day and warmest regards from SpamExperts women team!

Two months ago, at the first WHD.usa event, I joined a panel talk called “Value-added services: How the Cloud will boost sales (for service providers)”, moderated by Liam Eagle from 451 Research. As another big service provider show is happening in the US starting this Monday, HostingCon San Diego, I’m curious to see if the same topic will be covered again.

10 Year Party in Rome

The beginning of June was filled with exciting events for our team. To make sure our 10 year anniversary doesn’t pass by unnoticed, a surprise event was carefully planned. Bright and early in the morning we all got together at our offices around the world to later find out that we were going to meet everyone in Rome, some of us meeting for the first time ever! It was a great opportunity to mix business with pleasure and personally know the rest of the team. A good mix of fun team activities kept us engaged and energized the entire trip. Of course what happens in Rome stays in Rome, but here are some pictures to show you the awesome time we had there together and the nice mix of the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Mexico and New Zealand team members:
